Introduction
The ministry of communication technology and transport is responsible for managing and
monitoring spectrum.
Legislation
Communication sector in Tunisia is governed by the Telecommunications code established by
law no. 2001-1 of January 15, 2001. This law also governs Agence Nationale des Fréquences.

Radio Frequency Register
Tunisia’s government wish to promote the market for new wireless technologies for broadband
internet access and make free use of radio frequencies; however, technology like WIFI are not
yet subjected to license.
