This New Smartphone can be Worn on your Wrist

Blu have already raised $60,000 in crowd funding on Indiegogo in just four days towards their target of getting $1000, 000 of funding for their wearable smartphone. The Blu Smartphone may be the first wearable Smartphone to really take off. smartwatches such as the Apple Watch have sparked new interest wrist worn devices but if you want all the features of a Smartphone on your wrist, Blu’s Smartphone could be just what you are looking for.

The Blu Smartphone which measures 10 inches by 2 inches is made from F-Ouled plastic which is strong and flexible enough to roll into a 5.5 inch circumference. The screen is 5.3 inches and reinforced with Gorilla Glass making it shatterproof. As the device has a sealed printed circuit board and no external holes it is fully waterproof.

The Blu android device operates on a Snapdragon 810 processor and comes with 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. Blu supports 4.1 Bluetooth and has a 13 megapixel camera. Speakers are mounted onto the shell giving 360 degree sound and the device has a micro SIM slot. The device charges wirelessly and file transfer is done by NFC. A USB dock enables the Smartphone to sync with any PC. Blu users will be alerted to incoming calls, messages and notifications via the devices light panel.

Blu will ship the unlocked Smartphone to anywhere in the world and you can reserve your Blu wearable Smartphone at a super  early bird price of $219, but if you’re not quick the regular early bird price is $319. The RRP will be around $800 and a gold version may well follow at a later date.
