This new Smartphone comes with 4 detachable camera lenses

Mumbai based Smartphone maker iBall have released the latest in their Cobalt Smartphone series, the iBallSLR Cobalt 4. The budget Smartphone has 4 detachable mSLR lenses which include a zoom lens that offers 8 x zooming, a fish eye lens with a 175-180 degree view angle, a macro lens with 10 x magnification and a wide angle lens with a 130 degree view angle.

The iBallSLR Cobalt 4 is a dual-SIM Smartphone with a 5 inch display offering 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage which can be extended to 32GB with a microSD card. The device supports 3G connectivity, Wi-fi and Bluetooth and benefits from HotKnot file transfer technology which is similar to Near Field Communication (NFC).The Smartphone itself has an 8 megapixel autofocus camera as well as a 3.2 megapixel selfie camera.

This is the first time a Smartphone has come bundled with camera lenses. Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director of iBall said at the launch “ We are very excited with our newest launch which revolutionises and redefines smartphones “ adding “The multiple options of the lens shall snap great pictures and change the way photo’s are captured on the Smartphone”. The bundle includes a free pouch for storing the lenses safely and a cleaning cloth.

No stranger to innovation, iBall launched a Smartphone designed specifically with women’s safety in mind in 2014. The Andi Uddaan features a SOS button on the back which if pressed sends out a warning message to up to 5 predefined contacts.

The iBallSLR Cobalt 4 will go on sale all over India retailing at 8,499 RS.
